Frequently asked questions
I had surgery elsewhere and my incision opened. Will you see me?
Yes. We routinely see patients whose surgical wounds aren't healing, even if the surgery was performed at another practice or hospital. Call 662-449-3663.
Is some drainage from a surgical wound normal?
Small amounts of clear or lightly blood-tinged drainage in the first week can be normal. Cloudy, foul-smelling, heavy, or increasing drainage is not normal and should be evaluated.
